My name is Viktor Szabo, and I am a wildlife photographer, filmmaker, and ecologist based in Slovakia.
My passion for nature began in childhood, spending countless hours outdoors with my family. Over time, that curiosity evolved into a deeper interest in wildlife, ecology, and conservation.
In 2015, I combined my love for nature with photography and started documenting the wildlife around me. What began as a hobby soon became a lifelong pursuit. Today, my work focuses primarily on wild animals and the landscapes they inhabit.
Over the years, I have photographed wildlife across Slovakia, Canada, Alaska, Norway, and other regions, always striving to capture authentic moments from the natural world.
Alongside photography, I work in wildlife research and conservation. I hold a master degree in Ecology and Environmental Studies from Comenius University in Bratislava and have been involved in projects focused on large carnivores, birds of prey, and owl conservation. My work combines scientific understanding with visual storytelling to help people connect with nature.
I have also worked as a cameraman on the documentary film Wild Slovakia with Nigel Marven 2 and collaborated with organizations including WWF and national park authorities on conservation and educational projects.
My goal is simple: to tell compelling stories about wildlife and inspire greater appreciation and protection of the natural world.
